The event, which will be held at Sarit Expo Centre, Westlands, Nairobi, is a unique opportunity for innovators, professionals, enthusiasts, and industry leaders from across the region to connect, share ideas, and explore the latest advancements and trends in these rapidly evolving fields.
The conference will also include panel discussions for industry experts and stakeholders to explore the need and modalities to develop comprehensive AI and drone technology policies and frameworks to ensure responsible innovations and to promote equitable access to their benefits for all communities in the region.

The conference comes at a time when many sectors of the economy are increasingly adopting and integrating artificial intelligence in to their operations to bolster efficiency and maximize their performance. This has already demonstrated AI’s potential with transformative outcomes in sectors such as business operations, healthcare, education, agriculture, financial services, e-commerce among others.
In an Oxford Insights Government AI readiness index report of 2022, Kenya was ranked fifth in Africa for its readiness to adopt Artificial Intelligence in delivery of public services, not only ahead of her East African peers but also setting the pace for the region.
