Medium has expanded its partner program to 23 African countries

Medium’s Boost Nomination Program is one of the ways the platform handpicks the best stories on  to get extra visibility. “While we have a team of internal curators, we also rely on independent editors within the Medium community to find and nominate stories for a Boost. When nominated stories are selected for a Boost, the nominator earns a flat fee. You can read more about the Boost here.”

“At Medium, we believe there are great stories everywhere,” said CEO Tony Stubblebine. “We are trying to build a better internet because we want to be a home for perspectives from as diverse a set of countries, demographics, cultures, and lived experiences as we can. In expanding our Partner Program, we hope these new voices will help deepen our collective understanding of the world through their writing.”
