Zerik Security has announced that TekGenio Inc., a global technology solutions company, will participate in the ZerikCyber25 Conference and Expo, scheduled for Oct. 28–31 in Nairobi. The event, billed as one of Africa’s most ambitious cybersecurity gatherings, is expected to draw policymakers, innovators, and industry leaders from around the world.

TekGenio will showcase its latest innovations at an exhibition stand alongside Zerik Security’s own. The company’s top executives, Siva Prasad, chief executive, and Rahul Shahi, chief technology officer, are also slated to join the conference’s keynote panels.

Organizers say their presence is meant to bring international expertise to discussions on digital resilience, cybersecurity innovation, and global collaboration.

“The participation of TekGenio Inc underscores the international importance of ZerikCyber25. We are honored to welcome their leadership as part of our keynote panels, where they will share valuable perspectives on building secure, scalable, and sustainable digital ecosystems,” said Lyeon Kowido, president of Zerik Security.

The gathering comes at a time when Africa’s digital economy is expanding at breakneck speed, with mobile money, e-commerce, and fintech reshaping how millions of people transact and do business.

But the growth has also made the continent a target for cyberattacks, from cross-border financial fraud to ransomware and data breaches. Governments and businesses alike are racing to strengthen their defenses, often with limited resources and expertise.

Organizers have extended invitations to agencies, companies, and experts worldwide, and say they expect broad international representation.

Alongside policy discussions, the four-day event will include live hackathons, workshops, and demonstrations designed to showcase both local and global approaches to digital security.

With TekGenio’s involvement and growing foreign interest, ZerikCyber25 is being cast as a milestone in Africa’s cybersecurity calendar. Registration is open to delegates, policymakers, and industry professionals eager to join what organizers describe as a first-of-its-kind gathering in the region.
