A value-added technology distributor, Mart Networks has partnered with Ring LLC, a deal that will see the distribution of select devices of the home security and smart home company owned by Amazon.
Mart Networks will ensure customers can have home security solutions that are accessible and effective.
Ring devices include video doorbells that enable homeowners to see, hear and speak to anyone at their front door, from their compatible phone or tablet, even in the dark.
The firm also trades in indoor and outdoor security cameras; and a range of accessories, including solar panels.
Vice President of Emerging Markets at Ring, Mohammad Meraj Hoda said the firm aims at providing reliable, easy-to-install do-it-yourself (DIY) home smart security products.
“At Ring, our mission is to make neighborhoods safer. We reimagined home security with products like video doorbells, alarms, floodlight cam wired pro, and stick-up cams. Now, we’re excited to work with Mart Networks to expand our product availability in the region. We look forward to working together to bring our products to residents and continue to provide peace of mind to more customers around the world,” he stated.
These products have been available in Nairobi since the beginning of this month and in-store events will be done at Hotpoint and Jumia online specials to introduce this new product offering.
Customers who have installed Ring video doorbells and security cameras can detect any motion, and hold a two-way talk and the devices have night vision and more. All these are controllable via the Ring app.
When using the Ring alarms, users can customize their setup to suit their home and receive real-time notifications when any of their alarm sensors are triggered.
Ring states that all its devices have unique features that ensure privacy, security, and user control remain front and center.
Managing Director at the Mart Networks Group, Moiz Maloo said the firm delights in adding value to all channel partners with innovative and disruptive technology, consistent training and support.
The company has over 2,000 channel partners. Currently, it provides its services to over 15 countries, hence the ability to ensure technology products from a variety of leading vendors to customers across the region are available to consumers.
