The fifth edition of the Africa Tech Summit (ATS), has kicked off today at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi.
ATS is a leading tech event providing insight and networking.
The two-days summit has convened tech leaders and stakeholders, including investors, corporates, mobile operators, fintech, DeFi and crypto ventures, start-ups, developers, regulators, and policymakers to do business across the continent.
This year’s Africa Tech Summit is expected to feature 1000 plus delegates, 450 plus companies, three in one summit, 150 speakers across two stages, masterclass sessions, an exhibition and multiple networking events to drive business and investment forward.
Three major events will be held namely: the Africa Money and DeFi Summit, the Africa Startup Summit and the Africa Mobile and App Summit, which brings together tech players from across the continent.
The Africa Startup Summit, which connects tech startups with investors and corporates, will unpack opportunities and challenges within the ecosystem while showcasing leading ventures.
The Africa Mobile and App Summit will explore new technologies and solutions in the African mobile ecosystem and share insights on the future of mobile growth and trends in Africa.
10 selected African startups will pitch their company and solution on stage to an audience of investors and corporates, under the segment Pitch Live.
