TCS and Google Cloud launch AI-powered cybersecurity solutions

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has deepened its collaboration with Google Cloud by unveiling two new AI-driven cybersecurity solutions. This partnership aims to enhance enterprise cyber resilience and introduce advanced, domain-specific technologies.

One of the key offerings is the TCS Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solution, which leverages Google Cloud’s Security Operations platform. This product enables security teams to rapidly detect and respond to cyber threats, thanks to TCS’s contextual expertise combined with Google Cloud’s threat detection capabilities. It offers continuous monitoring and round-the-clock response, ensuring businesses remain secure.

Additionally, TCS launched the TCS Secure Cloud Foundation, which focuses on strengthening security across single, multi-, and hybrid cloud environments. Utilizing Google Cloud’s security features, this solution employs artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and automation to continuously assess risks, detect irregularities, and recommend corrective actions.

Ganesa Subramanian, VP and Global Head of TCS’s Cybersecurity Business Group, noted, “As businesses undergo rapid transformation, securing their journey is crucial for growth. The advent of generative AI highlights the need for modernized cybersecurity. Our partnership with Google Cloud combines top capabilities and insights to protect enterprise digital assets and ensure they are prepared for the future.”

These solutions have already been successfully deployed for clients, including a global bank in Germany. The TCS Secure Cloud Foundation automated over 800 security policies and ensured regulatory compliance for the institution.

Nidhi Srivastava, Vice President and Executive Champion for Google Cloud at TCS, said, “This partnership expansion brings two powerful AI-driven solutions—TCS MDR and TCS Secure Cloud Foundation—to help clients combat sophisticated cybersecurity threats. Our joint expertise and Google Cloud’s scalability deliver significant value to our customers.”

TCS and Google Cloud have been working together for a decade, delivering transformative cloud solutions to companies worldwide. The latest phase of their partnership focuses on utilizing Google Cloud’s AI-driven security tools to enhance threat intelligence, security operations, and cloud security.

“The integration of Google Security Operations into TCS’s solutions marks a significant evolution of our partnership. It enables us to offer advanced security capabilities, including scalable threat intelligence and AI-assisted response workflows, to improve clients’ security postures in real time” Peter Bailey, Vice President and General Manager of Security Operations at Google Cloud added.

TCS has been honored by Google Cloud with numerous awards in 2024, including Global Expansion Partner of the Year and Specialization Partner of the Year for Data Management and Talent Development in the Asia Pacific region.

TCS currently provides cybersecurity services to over 600 enterprises worldwide, supported by a team of over 16,000 professionals across 15+ delivery centers globally.
