Orange Egypt showcases 5G, AI, and smart city innovations at Cairo ICT’24

Orange Egypt highlighted its cutting-edge solutions for digital transformation at the 28th Cairo ICT’24 exhibition, where it participated as an official sponsor. The event, held from November 17 to 20, 2024, was under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and Communications Minister Dr. Amr Talaat in attendance.

At the heart of Orange Egypt’s presentation was its $135 million New Administrative Capital Data Centre project. This initiative supports Egypt’s economic and digital transformation, exemplifying sustainable urban development.

The New Administrative Capital is designed as a fully integrated smart city, attracting local and international investments with dedicated spaces for business, government, housing, culture, and entertainment.

Orange Business unveiled an advanced global platform integrating smart city management and AI technology. This platform combines the company’s expertise in telecommunications and infrastructure with strategic global partnerships.

The result is a suite of security solutions and digital tools to optimize business performance, enhance customer experiences, and tackle sustainability challenges.

Orange’s platform enables businesses to leverage artificial intelligence for operational efficiency and strategic goal attainment. By improving the management and utilization of business-generated data, companies can enhance interactions with customers and employees while advancing sustainability goals.

“Our participation here seeks to inspire youth, promote entrepreneurship, and forge partnerships that sustain the innovation momentum,” said Eng. Yasser Shaker, CEO and Managing Director of Orange Egypt.

Hesham Mahran, Chief Business Officer at Orange Egypt, added:
“These demonstrations underscore the strategic importance of digital transformation for businesses aiming to stay competitive and secure their future.

Orange Egypt’s presence at Cairo ICT’24 reflects its commitment to fostering technological innovation and advancing Egypt’s digital economy. Through initiatives like the Orange Digital Center and the ‘Fab Lab’, the company is empowering young entrepreneurs and professionals with the tools to drive transformative change.

With innovations in 5G, AI, and smart city solutions, Orange Egypt continues to position itself as a leader in the region’s digital transformation journey.
