Syokinet Solutions in Roam partnership to acquire 100 e-motorcycles this year

Syokinet Solutions, a leading internet service provider (ISP), has entered into a partnership with Roam, marking a significant step toward enhancing both sustainable transportation and service delivery in Kenya.

Under this agreement, Syokinet Solutions will purchase 100 Roam Air electric motorcycles in 2024. As a facilitator, Syokinet Solutions will distribute and issue these Roam Air motorcycles to its technicians. This initiative aims to provide technicians with reliable and efficient transportation, enabling them to conduct internet installation services more effectively.

“Our collaboration with Syokinet exemplifies Roam’s capacity to provide solutions aligning with organizations product and sustainability objectives. This extends beyond merely catering to the boda boda community, as we offer electric vehicles tailored to a diverse market niche,” said Dionne Getata, Roam’s Sales Operations Manager.

Syokinet Solutions has chosen Roam as the provider for their entire fleet due to the product’s proven reliability and suitability for their specific needs. The home charging capability and the flexibility to charge anywhere were fundamental in selecting Roam as their vehicle fleet partner. This initiative underscores Syokinet’s commitment to sustainability and cost-saving measures.

“Harnessing the power of sustainability, Syokinet fuels innovation with clean transport solutions for a cleaner future. With electric mobility, our program is more than just technical training; it’s about creating opportunities, fostering independence, and cultivating future innovators,” Ian Kasyoki, Chief Executive Officer of Syokinet remarked.

Designed for commercial use, the Roam Air electric motorcycle combines affordability, functional design, and performance to meet diverse needs, including cargo transportation. This partnership not only enhances service delivery but also demonstrates Syokinet Solutions’ dedication to sustainable practices.
