Digital health firm Zuri launches outpatient service targeting SME employees

Kenyan health-tech company Zuri Health has launched a new digital outpatient service, Zuricare, specifically aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The platform offers affordable, accessible and convenient healthcare to SME employees and their dependents.

The service allows employees to consult with licensed doctors, therapists, and nutritionists via video or phone call, 24/7, from their homes or offices.

Zuricare has been created to help SMEs provide healthcare benefits to their employees, overcoming the challenges they face in doing so.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zuri Health, Ikechukwu Anoke said: “We believe that every employee should have access to quality healthcare services regardless of location or income.”

The service is available to SMEs across Africa and offers licensed healthcare professionals, 24/7 consultations, convenient prescription delivery, and personalized healthcare plans for each employee and dependent.

Zuricare is also easily integrated into existing HR systems.

Head of Digital Verticals and Special Projects at Zuri Health, Louize Wanjohi said: “Our mission is to empower SMEs to achieve their business goals by providing affordable, accessible, high-quality healthcare solutions. Zuricare is the latest addition to our portfolio of digital healthcare solutions, and we are excited to launch this innovative service.”

The service is set to revolutionize how SMEs approach employee healthcare.
