TikTok has spawned global celebrities who are commanding mindboggling number of followers and minting a fortune in the process. Here is the list of the top TikTok influencers in the world as at March, 1, 2023.

  1. Khabane Lame (@khaby.lame)

This Senegalese social media influencer has been the king of TikTok for a while now, generating one viral content after another. He commends about 155 million followers, having jumped 21.65 percent from last year. The entertainer, who resides in Italy, creates hilarious videos of him mocking the complications of people in day-to-day issues are found all over social networks. Surprisingly his videos are speechless, yet they are able to catch the attention of the world. Perhaps it is this uniqueness of his videos that make his content special, enabling him to command the attention of the world.

D’Amelio comes second with 150 million followers. The versatile American tiktoker mainly shares content revolving around dances, trends or reactions, among others. She joined TikTok in 2019, and his fame started skyrocketing and is now one of the biggest influences on TikTok stage.

Taylor Nariee, better known as Bella Poarch, is a former US Navy soldier. She rose to fame in 2020 and a year later she launched her music career with the single Build a Bitch, which rocked the airwaves upon release. This has made her one of the world’s top entertainers, commanding 92.9 million followers on TikTok.

Addison Rae is an actress, dancer and singer. The artiste, who is of American origin, has 88.9 million followers on Tiktok. In August 2020, she was ranked as the highest-earning TikTok personality by Forbes. In 2021, she made the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for social media influencers.

Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, has captured the imagination of the world courtesy of his videos in which he organises crazy challenges and invites people including passers-by and strangers as well as other times celebrities, to perform them in return for cash prizes. He commands 77.8 million followers on TikTok.

He is a filmmaker who has dedicated himself to making a living on social media. He has 73.7 million followers. He started on Vine, before expanding into YouTube, and TikTok. His content revolves around playing with the audience’s imagination, generating videos in a manner that seems magical.

Will Smith needs little introduction in the realm of global entertainment scene. His Hollywood fame has spilled into social media, garnering a mouthwatering 73 million followers. Smith is beloved for his humour and charm.

Kimberly Loaiza is one of the top Spanish-speaking content creators on TikTok, with 73 million followers. The influencer mainly shares content on dances, songs and life as a couple together with her husband Juan de Dios Pantoja who is also an internet celebrity.

He has 68 million followers, a 24.55 percent increase from last year.  The Turkish chef has courted global attention through his unique cooking. He is an entrepreneur as well and owns Owner of the Hatay Civilizations Table restaurant chain. What makes him stands out are his videos capturing massive dishes, as well as for his unique expression when cooking.
