Nemetschek group introduces AI assistant to enhance architectural design

The Nemetschek Group, a leading provider of software solutions for the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AEC/O) industries, has unveiled its first AI-powered assistant for Archicad.

Debuting at Munich’s BAU 2025, the AI Assistant aims to streamline design workflows, enhance creativity, and ensure project quality and compliance.

Integrated directly into Archicad, the AI Assistant functions as an intelligent chatbot, offering users real-time access to product knowledge, industry insights, BIM model queries, and AI-driven visualization tools. This innovation allows architects and designers to refine projects seamlessly through an interactive chat interface.

“We are proud to introduce the AI Assistant, an advanced tool designed to elevate user experience and efficiency,” said Márton Kiss, Chief Product Officer at Graphisoft, a Nemetschek brand. “Graphisoft played a crucial role in both developing and implementing this technology, reinforcing our commitment to shaping the future of the AEC industry.”

Julian Geiger, Vice President and Head of AI Product and Transformation at Nemetschek, highlighted the broader vision: “This is our first AI agent-based technology, building on the AI layer introduced in October 2024. Our goal is to deliver a unified, intuitive experience across Nemetschek’s brands, empowering users with smarter tools that enhance productivity while maintaining a seamless transition between platforms.”

With AI increasingly influencing the AEC/O sector, Nemetschek’s latest innovation signals a step toward more intelligent, efficient, and collaborative design solutions.
