MyFatoorah and Mastercard partner to transform e-commerce payments in the Middle East

MyFatoorah, a leading payment service provider (PSP) in the Middle East, has partnered with Mastercard to launch the Mastercard Gateway, a cutting-edge digital payment platform designed to enhance e-commerce transactions for over 75,000 merchants across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jordan, and Egypt.

This strategic collaboration aims to deliver secure, seamless, and efficient payment solutions while providing advanced fraud prevention technologies. By integrating Mastercard Gateway, MyFatoorah will enable merchants to offer faster, more secure transactions and a wider range of payment options, enhancing the overall shopping experience and boosting conversion rates.

“The evolving demands of consumers and the rapid pace of change in e-commerce are driving innovation in payment solutions. Our partnership with Mastercard reflects our commitment to improving online shopping and making digital transactions more seamless,” said Abdullah Aldabbous, Founder and Managing Partner of MyFatoorah.

Gina Petersen-Skyrme, Country Manager for the UAE and Oman at Mastercard, emphasized the importance of the collaboration, stating, “Mastercard is dedicated to expanding innovative payment solutions across the region. This partnership with MyFatoorah strengthens our digital payment acceptance network and aligns with our mission to enhance everyday experiences for consumers.”

Since its founding in Kuwait in 2016, MyFatoorah has become a trusted PSP across various sectors, including government, education, retail, marketplaces, and insurance.

The introduction of Mastercard Gateway reinforces the company’s commitment to providing tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of businesses across the Middle East.

By leveraging Mastercard Gateway’s advanced payment processing and fraud prevention capabilities, MyFatoorah aims to redefine digital payments, empowering merchants, micro-merchants, and financial institutions to thrive in an increasingly digital economy.
