Who commands the most Instagram followers and the top dollar that comes with the massive social media influence? Here is your answer:

Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo tops the world with 483 millions followers. Cristiano Ronaldo isa household name in the football field. Thanks to his exploits in on soccer pitch and popularity as influence that comes with on social media platforms, he has partnered with top corporates such as Nike, EA Spots, etc, a venture that fetches him millions of dollars. Cristiano is said to take home more than $2million per post. In Kenyan shillings that translates to about Sh230 million.

Kylie Jenner –

In the second position is Kylie Jenner, with 370M followers on Instagram. She juggles various careers and roles ranging from media personality, socialite, model, and businesswoman. Her posts fetches her more than $1.8 million apiece.

Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi needs little introduction if any. Like Cristiano, he plies his trade in the football world. He comes third currently has 362M followers.  He earns about $1.8 million per post.

Selena Gomez

Musician Selena Gomez clinches the fourth position with 347 million followers on Instagram.  Aside from her musical career, she is an actress and founder of a cosmetics company. She takes home about $1.7 million per post.

The Rock – Dwayne Johnson 

The Rock, also known as Dwayne Johnson, is fifth with 338 followers and earns about $1.7 million per post. His fame emanates from sports (read wrestling). He is also an actor of no mean repute.

Ariana Grande

Like Selene Gomez, Ariana Grande is a singer and actress. She has 332 million followers and earns about $1.7 million per post.  She is known for her exploits in the 2000’s on Nickelodeon’s Victorious. She has bagged a number of accolades for her singing and acting careers, including Billboard, Grammy, and American Music Awards.
