Airtel launches ‘Chaguo Lako’ offering different postpaid plans for calls, SMS, and data for its customers

Airtel Kenya has launched a new all-in-one premier plan that offers a variety of postpaid plans for calls, SMS, and data.

The product, named ‘Chaguo Langu’, is designed for heavy users such as Micro-, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs), start-ups, corporates, and individuals.

The plan includes three different packages with varying data, call and SMS limits: Bonga Zaidi, Browse Ukibonga, and Browse Zaidi.

Customers can enjoy free Airtel-to-Airtel calls even after they have used up the allocated ALL-Network minutes.

Customers can also renew their subscription with the same plan within ten days of expiry to enjoy a rollover of minutes, data, and SMS.

Airtel Kenya’s Managing Director, Ashish Malhotra, said that the product was a commitment to continue delivering innovative and relevant communication solutions to Kenyans.

Customers can visit any Airtel shop countrywide to enrol in Airtel Premier “Chaguo Langu”, and subscribe to the desired plan based on their budget and communication needs by dialling *544#.

The plans are divided into five price categories and each category offers different amounts of data, calls, and SMS.

The launch of Airtel Premier is a significant milestone for Airtel Kenya, as it was announced in the presence of key government officials, including the Cabinet Sec for Cooperatives and SMEs, Simon Chelugui.

In addition to the launch and reducing its roaming charges, Airtel Kenya has provided more than Sh27 billion in loans through the Hustler Fund, which has made it a popular option for Kenyans seeking loans.
