The inaugural Africa Digital Finance Summit will take place in South Africa from May 24th to May 26th.
Themed “The Future of Finance in Africa: Our pathway to a new Africa”, the event brings together global experts in the fields of digital and finance.
This summit is backed by over 30 partners. Already, 2500 people have confirmed attendance.
The conference will feature keynote speeches and panel discussions by over 70 speakers from more than 40 countries.
The summit will bring together officials from governments, central banks, fintech, and start-ups, among others, in the financial, economic, technology, fintech and blockchain.
Topics to be discussed include policies and legislation, blockchain technology, and the convergence of various transformational technologies to drive socio-economic growth in Africa.
The summit will be centered on Africa’s financial future, with a particular focus on how the region can use decentralized finance to transform its economy and daily interactions.
The summit aims to establish Africa as a pioneer in digital finance innovation and implementation.
Also, it seeks to motivate African governments and private sector participants to seize the opportunities provided by the digital economy.
